It's not quite finished but now the sleeves are attached the hooded jacket looks a lot closer to finished.

It just needs a button and some top stitching down the front and it is finished
Yesterday I made another cat-eating fish, cat cave from some hand-dyed Corriedale.
Feeling inspired by this pine cone:
I made a bowl:
The silk is still very shiny, the photos really don't do it justice at all.
What have you been up to?
Wow, you've been a busy girl :) The jacket is gorgeous, I love the fish eating cat cave and the scarves are beautiful too. The pine cone bowl is very cool - pine cones are very inspiring for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruth, it was exhausting but so much fun!
DeleteYou've indeed been very busy Teri !!!
ReplyDeleteLove the scarfs !
Thanks Els :)
DeleteI'll say it was productive! Great pieces very unique and creative! Love them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mysterymar :)
DeleteI'd be chuffed to nuts to have achieved all that in a weekend! The pine cone bowl is very creative and the fish eating cat cave is a hoot. The scarves are very pretty and it's a shame that photographing textiles is such a mare - it's frustrating when you can't show on your blog what your eye can plainly see on the table - but take heart as we all experience it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lyn, I always struggle to capture sheen in my photos, it's especially frustrating when I see gorgeous photos of shiny silks on Pinterest!
